Dumphord makes another visit to U of L

Chase Dumphord, a three-star offensive lineman from Paris (Ky), made another unofficial visit to Louisville last Thursday for the Cardinals 44-34 win over West Virginia. What were the 6'5-300-pound Dumphord thoughts on Louisville's exciting win?

Chase Dumphord, a three-star offensive lineman from Paris (Ky), came away impressed with Louisville's 44-34 win over West Virginia Thursday night.

Dumphord, an athletic 6'5, 300-pound tackle, made an unofficial visit for the Cardinals win over the Mountaineers, at least his second such trip to Louisville this season.

"He hasn't committed to anybody yet, but he enjoyed his visit to Louisville Thursday night," Paris coach Brian Washington said Sunday evening. "He didn't say a whole lot about it on Friday because we had a big game later that night, but he was excited about it and really was impressed with the atmosphere."

Dumphord is considering offers from Louisville, Kentucky, Cincinnati and Auburn. "He's still weighing his options," Washington said.

Paris High lost to Raceland Friday in the playoffs ending Dumphord's season. "He really played well in the game," Washington said.
