Aaron Gresham schedules visits

Aaron Gresham is one of the top linebacker prospects in North Florida this year. The Mayo (Fla.) standout will take three official visits to Big East programs before selecting a college. Who's in the mix for the 6'1, 215-pound Gresham?

"We just lost in the first round of the state playoffs so we're done," Aaron Gresham said. "We had a pretty tough first game against Port St. Joe. I do hope they go on to win states. They're a real good team and I have a lot of respect for them."

Gresham, 6-foot-1 and 215 pounds, finished the season with roughly 120 tackles after getting 141 a year ago.

"I had 115 going into the Port St. Joe game," he said. "And I know I had 19 tackles for loss going into that game. I probably had five or six (tackles) last week."

The talented linebacker prospect plans on doing some hunting now that football season's over. He's also preparing to select a college.

"I have four trips lined up," he said. "I know for sure I'm going to Louisville on December 8th and South Florida on January 19th. I'm also going to take trips to Central Florida and Cincinnati but we're still working out the dates for those."

Gresham isn't ready to name any favorites yet.

"I can't really tell you right now," he said. "They're all good schools and it'll be a tough choice. I'm looking for a place where I feel comfortable. I know enough about these schools to know they're not bad schools or anything so basically it's where I feel the most comfortable now."
