One of the Bayou's more underrated players has picked up two big time scholarship offers recently.

"Colorado and Louisville offered me this Fall," commented Terry Carter.

Which brings his scholarship total to what?

"I have six offers now. Colorado, Arkansas, La Monroe, La Tech, Louisville, and Duke."

Has the 5' 10", 175 pound corner out of West Monroe set up his official visits yet?

"No sir, but I am going to try and go up to the Arkansas/LSU game Saturday.

The one thing that sticks out about Carter's game his his speed.

"I won State last year in the 4 by 2 and I placed second in the 200 (yard dash) and 4 by 1."

Terry posted the fastest 40 time at the LSU Sr camp (4.38) this past summer, but when talking about the improvements he made this year on the field, one word comes to mind.

"Tackling. I was much more physical than I was last year."

Terry had 56 tackles, 4 interceptions, 1 forced fumble and 1 fumble recovery for the Rebels this year, but his season ended on a disappointing note.

"We lost to Sulphur 21-14 in the second round of the playoffs. We wanted to win state back to back, but it just was not in the cards. Our offense had 7 turnovers."

Did Terry get a chance to take in any college games this Fall?

"No sir, our coach does not let us do that. He wants us to concentrate on our season."

Which colleges are now at the top of Terry's list?

"Arkansas, Colorado, Louisville, USM, and LSU."

Who is showing Carter the most love?

"Arkansas and Colorado. Well, Arkansas is on the top."

What stands out about the Hogs?

"They play man coverage, and I heard they have a nice campus. I am also real comfortable with their recruiting coach."
