Scout.com three-star running back Rai-Shawn Wilson spent last weekend in Louisville on an official visit. With trips to Clemson and Florida State remaining, is the Saint Augustine, Florida prospect leaning towards one?
, a Scout.com three-star running back from Saint Augustine, Fla., traveled to Louisville
for an official visit over the weekend and was impressed enough that the 5-foot-10, 195-pound prospect is thinking about becoming a Cardinal.
"I'm leaning that way," Wilson told InsideTheVille.com on Wednesday. "I saw everything that I needed during my visit. It was everything that I was looking for."
Wilson was hosted by freshman running back Anthony Allen and had the opportunity to meet a number of the Cardinals players, including Michael Bush.
"He was telling me about how (Louisville) was a great place to play," said Wilson. "He told me that he saw my film and that he thought I was pretty good."
Wilson, who totaled over 1,400 all-purpose yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior, will take two additional official visits following the start of the new year.
"I'm going to visit Florida State and Clemson in January," said Wilson. "I'm going to wait until I take my other visits before I make my decision."
Palatka (Fla.) wide receiver prospect Josh Miller, a close friend of Wilson's, also visited Louisville last weekend. Despite playing for rival high schools, the two hope to play for the same program on the college level.
"We are hoping too," said Wilson. "We've sat down and talked about it. That's what we'd like to do."
Miller, who holds scholarship offers from Bowling Green, Central Florida, Louisville, Miami and South Florida, was equally impressed from his time visiting the fifth-ranked Cardinal program.
"We loved everything about the place," he said.
