Rai-Shawn Wilson, one of the top running back prospects in the state of Florida this year, had a great visit to Louisville last week that vaulted the Cardinals to the top of his list. Will upcoming visits to Florida State and Clemson sway his decision? InsideTheVille.com has the latest..
"I went up to Louisville
for a visit a couple weeks ago," Rai-Shawn Wilson
said. "I liked it. It's a nice place there. The people are real nice and I got along with the players. With Louisville, they throw and run a lot."
Wilson, 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, also took an unofficial visit to Miami recently.
"I first went down there for the Florida State game a few months ago," he said. "I went back down a couple weeks ago. I saw the school and everything. It was nice. They got a new head coach and I kinda wish I was a junior so I could see how he does rebuilding them back up. I'm not really looking at them too much though."
The talented running back prospect plans to check out a few other schools in January.
"I'm definitely going to Florida State and Clemson," he said. "I might also try getting up to Georgia and Tennessee. I like Louisville a lot right now, though."
Wilson said he received in-home visits from coaches at Louisville and Florida State in recent weeks.
