Louisville shot lights out in an 81-55 blowout win over South Florida Wednesday night. The Cardinals made 13 three-pointers and made 54 percent of their shots from the field.

with 17 points, while senior guard Brandon Jenkins
finally got back in the groove with 14 points, making all four of his three-point attempts.
The win improved Louisville to 1-1 in the Big East conference, while the Bulls lost for the 18th time in 19 Big East contests.
Three other Louisville players scored in double-figures. Edgar Sosa scored 12, while Jerry Smith and David Padgett each finished with 11 points.
The Cardinals played without starting forward Juan Palacios, and reserves Derrick Caracter and Andre McGee. Palacios and McGee sat out the game because of injury, while Caracter didn't make the trip with the team to Tampa.
Kentrell Gransberry led South Florida with 19 points and Melvin Buckley added 12.
Louisville plays Providence Saturday afternoon at home.
