6-foot-5, 290-pound New Jersey OL/DL prospect Greg Tomczyk will make his previously scheduled official visit with the University of Louisville this weekend. A Thursday afternoon conversation with new U of L head coach Steve Kragthorpe proved to be successful.
"I've talked to coach Nord and coach Kragthorpe," Tomczyk told InsideTheVille.com on Thursday evening. "I actually talked to them about 20 minutes ago and I'm going to be taking my official there this weekend."
"I'm pretty excited about it," said Tomczyk. "I think it's a good opportunity. Coach Petrino did a good job while he was there, but everything I hear about the new coach and what he did at Tulsa is impressive, so I'm looking forward to talking to him some more."
In addition to those he's visiting, Tomczyk explained that it's possible that more schools may surface before national signing day.
"We are discussing some of the other schools that might come along," said Tomczyk, who mentioned Boston College, Miami and Wake Forest. "I still keep in contact with Wisconsin. We'll see how things go this weekend and then go from there…nothing is set in stone."
Tomczyk reports no clear favorite and added that a college decision will not be made this weekend.
