Four-star LB Josh Bynes enjoyed in-home visit

New University of Louisville head coach Steve Kragthorpe continues to receive favorable responses following in-home visits with high school prospects. four-star linebacker Josh Bynes spoke with about his first meeting with the Cardinal head coach.

Rated among the top 20 strong side linebackers in the country by, Josh Bynes of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida is one of Louisville's top targets during the final weeks of the recruiting season. Bynes, who made an official visit with Louisville in December, a visit that he rated as a perfect ten, told earlier this week that he was looking forward to an in-home visit with new Cardinal head coach Steve Kragthorpe.

Kragthorpe, along with linebackers coach Reggie Johnson, visited with the 6-foot-2, 220-pound four-star prospect on Monday night.

"It went real good," said Bynes. "I thought he was pretty cool. He seems like a good coach and I think he'll do a good job at Louisville."

Bynes, who is also considering Auburn, Iowa and South Carolina, has now received in-home visits from the head coach for all of his finalists.

"They've all been here now," said Bynes, who will make an official visit with South Carolina this weekend. "It makes you feel like you are really wanted. The head coach doesn't visit everybody, so it feels good to know that they want you to come play for them that much."

Bynes is planning to announce his college choice at his school on national signing day on February 7.

"That's going to be real tough," he explained. "When I take my visits I look at everything. Even the little things. Part of it will be if I think a school can help me get to the next level or not and I think that all of the four that I'm looking at can."
