Miller, 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, visited Louisville in December before nearly crossing them off his list earlier this month.
"I was really high on them after my visit but when Coach Petrino left, I wasn't sure about them," he said. "That's when I started talking to Miami. Then I started talking to the new coaches and I realized that's where I wanna be."
"Everything's off," he said. "I have a clean slate. I'm finished. I'm going to Louisville. Hopefully I can play early and help them continue some of the success they've had their in recent years. I texted the coaches to let them know."
Miller said he's glad to hear that some of the other recruits he met on his visit have committed to Louisville as well.
"Woodny Turenne, the cornerback from Junior College committed and so did the running back from Chicago," he said. "We're all real excited about it."
