Bynes still considering Louisville

Four-star linebacker Josh Bynes has cut his list by one and is still considering three programs. With signing day rapidly approaching the 6-3, 225-pound Bynes says he'll cut one more school from list before signing with the school of his choice next week. Where does Louisville stand?

"I've just been chillin lately," Josh Bynes said. "I'm already done with all my visits. I took my last one on the 19th and now I'm relaxing."

Relaxing is something Bynes can do a little bit of this week since there haven't been any in-home visits.

"No coaches are coming by this week," he said. "They all came last week and I'm using this week to think about my decision because it's not gonna be easy."

Bynes, 6-foot-2 and 215 pounds, recently narrowed his list of favorites down to Auburn, South Carolina, Louisville, and Iowa. Last night, one of them got the boot.

"I called the coaches at Iowa yesterday and told them that I'm no longer considering them," he said. "It's down to Auburn, Louisville, and South Carolina."

The talented linebacker said there's a lot to like about all three schools.

"Everyone has what I'm looking for," he said. "I can't make a wrong choice now. I really like all three of them. Basically, it's gonna come down to where I feel the most at home. I'm gonna go to the school that best fits me."

Next Wednesday is when Bynes plans on announcing his final choice.

"I'll eliminate one more sometime between now and then," he said. "Then I'll go into signing day with two and sign with one of them on Wednesday."
