Georgia Linebacker Receiving Early Interest

North Gwinnett (GA) High School linebacker Eloka Anyaorah is one of a host of Georgia prospects that Louisville is courting early in the recruiting process. Scout.com spoke with the 5'11, 200-pound prospect this week concerning his recruitment.

"This year, we had a pretty good season," Eloka Anyaorah said, referring to his junior campaign at North Gwinnett High School. "A new coaching staff got us on the right track and we finished 11-2. I finished with 112 tackles, 86 solo, and I finished with 8 sacks."

The player of the week for his team four times throughout his junior season, Anyaorah is currently receiving college interest from several schools. "Louisville is showing interest, Wake Forest, Mississippi State, and Duke."

Anyaorah was slated to visit Wake Forest this past weekend but was unable to make it to Winston-Salem for the visit. " was supposed to go on Friday but didn't make it up," he said. "I don't know much about Wake as I wasn't able to go, but my friends told me it'd be a great visit and it's a great school to go to. Some guys I know went up for their junior day this weekend and liked it up there."

Those "guys" were two teammates from his junior season at North Gwinnett, athletes Tom Martinez and Cameron Demps.

At this point, Anyaorah has yet to receive his first offer. He will attend several camps this summer, though he is unsure which camps he will attend at this point.
