Louisville baseball is on a roll! The Cardinals (21-8; 6-1) victory over Pittsburgh on Thursday was the program's seventh straight win. First-year head coach Dan McDonnell has the University of Louisville baseball on team on a roll. The Cardinals 7-1 win over visiting Pittsburgh on Thursday was the seventh straight win for U of L, which has now won 12 of it's last 13 outings.

Louisville improved to 21-8 on the season and it's 6-1 record in Big East Conference play has the Cardinals in sole possession of first place in league standings. U of L has outscored it's conference opponents 57-23 through seven games.

Louisville hosts Pittsburgh on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and again on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The Cardinals will welcome rival and nationally-ranked Kentucky to Jim Patterson Stadium on Wednesday, April 11 at 6:00 p.m.

Admission to the baseball game against Kentucky on Wednesday, April 11 is still free, but there will be reserved seating in the grandstand. Free tickets will be available on a first come, first served basis at Friday and Saturday's games against Pitt or at the U of L ticket offices in the Student Activities Center and at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium Monday through Wednesday.
