Ohio lineman set for Senior Camp

Lexington, Ohio offensive line prospect Marc Stevens, who has already visited Louisville on multiple occasions, is hoping that his performance at U of L's Senior Camp next month will be enough to attract on offer from the Cardinal program.

In April, Marc Stevens, a 6-foot-5, 285-pound offensive lineman from Lexington, Ohio, made the short trip south to Louisville for an unofficial visit with the Cardinal program and after doing so told InsideTheVille.com that he left impressed and had plans to return.

Those previous plans have remained unchanged.

"Oh yeah, that's definitely still on," Stevens said on Sunday. "I'm going to their one day camp on June 10."

With scholarship offers from Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green and most recently Western Michigan already in hand, Stevens is hitting the camp circuit in hopes of collecting even more. Stevens hopes his performance at U of L's Senior Day camp is enough to draw an offer from head coach Steve Kragthorpe.

"I'm going to a host of camps, but if I get an offer from Louisville then there will only be one or two others that I'd still do," Stevens said, adding that he currently remains open to any school. "Louisville and Michigan are pretty high up there, but I'm open to everyone really."

In addition to making unofficial visits during the early part of spring, which also included stops at Cincinnati, Illinois, Purdue and Vanderbilt, Stevens has also kept busy during the off season participating in his team's weight lifting program and as a member of his school's track team.

"I'm just finishing up track," Stevens said. "I actually just qualified for regionals in both the shot put and discuss."
