Louisvillle assistant Mark Nelson made a trip to Florida recently to watch Hall in action during St. Augustine's spring practice and called soon after to extend a scholarship.
"I was really excited about that offer," Hall told InsideTheVille.com. "Coach Nelson came down for one of our practices and called this week and offered. I would say it might be the best offer I've got right now."
A talented defender – Hall registered 61 tackles and made seven interceptions as a junior – Hall has a busy summer planned. He'll attend camps at Georgia Tech, Tennessee, South Florida and Florida and thinks the Bulls might be close to offering.
"South Florida's head coach (Jim Leavitt) came down for our spring game and he wants to offer," Hall said. "If South Florida offers they would be high on my list, probably No. 2 behind Louisville."
On the field, the hard-hitting Hall brings a maturity and leadership that college coaches look for in young prospects.
"I'm real competitive," Hall said. "I've always been in the leadership role. I like to be a leader on the field and I just love to compete."
Hall, who will also play wide receiver next season, said academics will ultimately play a major role in his college decision.
"Once I get comfortable with three or four schools I'll sit down with my parents to make a decision," hall said. "Finding a school with a good business (program) will be a big factor for me."
