Kuyateh commits to Cardinals during visit

Offensive linemen Abdul Kuyateh of Reedley C.C. committed to Louisville during his official visit this week...

The University of Louisville picked up verbal commitments number two and three on Wednesday.

Junior college offensive lineman Abdul Kuyateh of Reedley (Calif.) C.C. and Charles Millenbah of Grossmont (Calif.) C.C. both pledged to the Cardinal program during their visit on Wednesday.

"I'm going to Louisville," Kuyateh told InsideTheVille.com on Thursday. "I like the coaching staff and the players there. Everyone was real cool and it was real nice."

"Probably the thing that impressed me the most was the workout facilities," Kuyateh continued. "Those were the best I've seen. I was pretty much taken by surprise at how nice it was."

Kuyateh also held scholarship offers from Iowa State and Kentucky.

"I was going to visit Iowa State, but I'm going to cancel that," Kuyateh said. "I'm solid."

Reedley head coach Michael White describes his 6'3, 295-pounds lineman as a hard-worker with plenty of up-side.

"He's got that nasty attitude that you love in an offensive lineman and he loves the weight room and works really hard and is very, very coachable," White recently told Scott Eklund of JCFootball.com. "Coming from the defensive side, he has the athleticism you want for a guy to pull and get out on running plays and still has very good strength."

Kuyateh also confirmed what InsideTheVille.com indicated in our recruiting notebook, that 6-foot-5, 300-pound offensive tackle C.J. Millenbah also committed during the visit.

"Yeah he committed too," he said. "We're both going there."
