I'm trying to take my game to another level and improve my rankings. Every time I'm out there and see these other guys out there I'm just trying to prove that I'm the best in the country. I try to work on all parts of my game like the one dribble pull-up and try to get my teammates involved.
Do you think you proved you're one of the best today?
I think I showed I'm one of the best players in the country. Greg [Monroe] is a pretty good player and he's on my team, so I really just wanted to get a win out here and get the gold.
You and Devin Ebanks went at it during your first game. What did you think of that matchup?
Ebanks, he is a good player. He's long and lanky and kind of reminds me of myself, but I probably dribble a little better than him. We both played a pretty good game today.
You've been going to the basket a lot more this weekend. Is that something you have been focusing on?
I feel that there isn't anyone that can stick me, so every chance I get, if I see an opening I'm going to take it. I'm trying to change my game and take it to the rack instead of shooting all of these pull-up jumpers and taking bad shots.
How is the recruiting process going?
It's pretty much the same. Hopefully during September I can get time to take some visits and do things like that.
What schools are in the picture?
You and Samardo Samuels are pretty close. Have you two chatted since he made his commitment to Louisville?
I talked to him and he said he wants me to go there with him. Hopefully when I make my decision and if that's the right decision for me then that would be a good chance to play with Samardo because he's a real good player and real good big man.
