Recruiting Notebook: School Lists

Several talented hoop prospects are listing Louisville among their favorite schools this week at various national camps and AAU tournaments, including a pair of highly-regarded underclassmen.

Chris Singleton, a 6-8 power forward from Dunwoody High School in Georgia, told Scout.com's Evan Daniels at the adidas Take 5ive Classic that North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, LSU, Florida State, Miami, Kentucky, Louisville, and Cincinnati are the teams currently on his list. Singleton is ranked the #31 player in the Class of 2009 by Scout.com.

Trae Golden, a 6-1 point guard from McEachern High School in Powder Springs, GA, told Scout.com's Evan Daniels at the adidas Take 5ive Classic that he is hearing from Kentucky, Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Georgetown, and Louisville. Golden is a member of the Class of 2010.

Shawn Williams, a 6-6 shooting guard from Duncanville High School in Texas, informed Scout.com's Evan Daniels at the adidas Take 5ive Classic that he is currently considering Texas, Arkansas, Louisville, Kentucky, Kansas, Baylor, Texas A&M, and North Carolina as possible college destinations. Williams is currently ranked #27 in the Class of 2009 by Scout.com.

Greg Monroe, Scout.com's top prospect in the Class of 2008 out of Gretna (La.) Cox, drew a crowd the first day of the July period and more are sure to follow, reports Scout.com National Recruiting Director Dave Telep. Monroe is at the LeBron James Skills Academy in Akron, Ohio. Watching the 6-foot-10 Monroe go through a series of drills were head coaches from LSU, Georgetown and Baylor. Kansas and Louisville had assistants in the building.
