Kyle Kuric told InsideTheVille.com ten days ago that he was getting close to making a decision between his two finalists – Louisville and Southern Illinois. But as of Monday night, the 6'5 sharp-shooting guard from Evansville (IN) Memorial was still mulling his options.

"Nothing has changed as far as making a decision," Kuric said via text message. "Just getting closer (to a decision) I guess."

So does Kuric have an idea when he might be ready to announce his decision? "Not at this point," Kuric replied.

Considered one of the top five players in the state of Indiana, Kuric made an official visit to Louisville last month. The Cardinals are looking for some outside shooting help from their 2008 recruiting class and Kuric could certainly provide that for Rick Pitino program.

If Kuric chooses Louisville over Southern Illinois he would be the third player to verbally commit to the Cards this year – joining 6-9 C Samardo Samuels and 6-4 SF Melquan Bolding.

Should Kuric, who averaged 22 points per game as a junior, select Southern Illinois over the Cards, he'd be the third shooting guard to commit to the Saluki's from the 2008 recruiting class, joining 6'3 Torres Roundtree and 6'1 Chris Parrish.
