Terrence Jennings set to visit

Terrence Jennings, an extremely talented 6'10, 230-pound center from Notre Dame (MA) Prep, will make his first official visit this weekend since backing out of his commitment to Maryland last month. InsideTheVille.com has the latest.

Scout.com's Evan Daniels is reporting that Terrence Jennings of Fitchburgh (Mass.) Notre Dame Prep will make an official visit to Louisville this coming weekend.

Jennings, a 6-foot-10, 230-pound center, recently de-committed from Maryland and re-opened his recruitment.

Last month, Jennings left Mount Zion (NC) Academy in Durham, NC and enrolled at Notre Dame. When he left, Mount Zion head coach Tony Fozard told InsideTheVille.com that he believed that Louisville would eventually emerge as the favorite for the four-star prospect.

Louisville this weekend.
Last week, Jennings told Brian Towey of ScoutNYPreps.com that his Top 5 consisted of Kentucky, Virginia, West Virginia, Miami, and UConn. Obviously, with his scheduled visit to Louisville this weekend, Jennings list has changed in the past few days.

That likely has to do with a visit last week by Louisville assistants Steve Masiello and Walter McCarty. The duo traveled to Fitchberg to check in with Jennings. It appears that visit proved fruitful for the Cardinals.

The Cardinals have had success in the past landing prospects from Notre Dame. Current center Derrick Caracter attended the school in 2006, while 2008 commit Melquan Bolding currently attends the school and is a teammate of Jennings.

"He's a really talented prospect if he can get some stability in his life," Daniels said of Scout.com's No. 3 ranked prep prospect nationally.
