Scout.com has learned that Louisville received binding letters of intent from three players Wednesday: 6'8 PF Samardo Samuels, 6'10 C/PF Terrence Jennings and 6'7 SF Jared Swopshire. Samuels is rated No. 2 nationally by Scout.com, while Swopshire checks in at No. 89. Jennings checks in as the No. 3-rated post graduate prospect.
At least one prospect who have given verbal commitment to Louisville – Kyle Kuric of Evansville won't sign with the Cardinals during the early signing period. Sources also have informed InsideTheVille.com that New York guard Melquan Bolding, who is a solid verbal commitment for the Cardinals, likely won't sign with Louisville until the spring signing period.
Scout.com rates Rick Pitino's haul No. 5 in the nation.
Pitino is expected to announce the signings at a press conference this Thursday.
