"It went pretty good," said Larry of his trip to Louisville. "I got to interact with the coaches and players a lot. The coaches and the campus were very nice. I just got along with the players really well. The players were easy to talk to and ask questions about the school."
Louisville sophomore defender Brandon Heath served as Larry's host. "We hung out at the dorm with some of the other players and chilled and played Madden," Larry said. "I felt there was a good comfort level with the players."
Louisville defensive coordinator Ron English needs some help at safety and feels that Larry can make an impact in the Cardinals secondary.
"He (Ron English) seems to really know what he's talking about," Larry said. "I can see it (playing safety) happening."
Larry said he's essentially narrowed his options to a pair of schools – Louisville and Georgia Southern. He'll visit the home state school next week and will probably make a decision soon after that visit.
"I'm going to Georgia Southern next weekend," Larry said. "After I visit Georgia Southern I'm pretty sure I'll be ready to commit. It's pretty much down to Georgia Southern and Louisville. The visit to Louisville helped them a lot. It went a lot better than I thought."
Larry said Louisville probably is in the lead for his services, but added, "I'm not really sure until I go to Georgia Southern to figure out where I want to go."
