NSD: Decision day for Cards top prospects

LOUISVILLE, KY --- Today is the biggest football recruiting day of the year, and as you've seen for the past seven years, InsideTheVille.com is the only place to be on National Signing Day. Louisville enters the day with a recruiting class on the rise nationally. Can the Cardinals pull a few surprises on signing day and move up even higher in the rankings?

Since taking over at Louisville in early December, Charlie Strong has the Cardinals on the rise.

Strong has made a lot of recruiting noise in the Big East and the Cardinals enter National Signing Day with the third-best recruiting class in the league behind Pittsburgh and West Virginia. Nationally, Strong's impact has also been felt as Louisville has vaulted more than 20 spots since he was hired to replace Steve Kragthorpe.

On the verge of cracking the national Top 40, Strong's first class could move even higher if a few key prospects decide to play for Louisville on National Signing Day. InsideTheVille.com will be tracking those decisions throughout National Signing Day.

Here are a few of the announcements we'll be watching closely:

TBD - DT Todd Chandler (Louisville, South Florida)

10:30 am - LB Tim Patterson (Louisville, Kentucky)

2:00 pm - WR Kadron Boone (LSU, Louisville, Georgia, West Virginia); LB Preston Brown (Cincinnati, Louisville, Minnesota)

For eight years, InsideTheVille.com has been the unrivaled choice for Louisville fans on National Signing Day. This year won't be any different. You don't want to miss out on the action, so make sure you have your subscription to the No. 1 website for Louisville Cardinal fans - InsideTheVille.com.
