Louisville offers star WR McNeal

Bryce McNeal, one of the top prospects in Minnesota, picked up a big offer recently from Louisville. The 6-2, 180-pound Minneapolis star now holds nine offers and will start to narrow his recruiting focus very soon. Where does the Cardinals offer put them on McNeal's list?

Bryce McNeal, a 6'2, 180-lb wide receiver from The Breck School in Minneapolis is one of the midwest's top prospects. Already holding eight offers coming into the week, McNeal added one more yesterday.

"I got an offer from Louisville today," he reported late last night, "I got an offer letter in the mail so I called [tight ends] Coach [Greg] Nord and he said call tomorrow so I can talk to the wide receivers coach and set up an unofficial visit."

With nine offers and only five official visit spots, McNeal says he is unsure of which schools will make the cut. He did say it was likely the Cardinals would be one of the five and that it won't be long before we know which campuses he will visit.

"I will be coming out with a top five next month of schools who offered me and those will be the officials."

Of course that is assuming he doesn't receive any offers after he sets the five. McNeal has been receiving offers at a steady rate of late. With all the interest from the various schools picking up, rumors have been tossed around that he may be ready to make a decision soon, but this is one recruit who plans to stay the course.

"I'm still going to wait until the Army game."
