Four-star corner likes UofL's new coaches

Justin Green, a four-star cornerback from Louisville (KY) Male, told InsideTheVille.com that he's impressed with the Cardinals new defensive coaching staff. What's the latest with Scout.com's No. 13-rated cornerback?

The University of Louisville has a long and storied pipeline to Louisville Male High School. From former standouts Chris Redman and Ibn Green, to current stars Dexter and Earl Heyman. And one thing is very clear. The Louisville coaching staff would love to continue that tradition with four-star cornerback Justin Green.

And as you can expect from such a well thought of prospect Green has begun to receive a lot of love. And to that end Green has already garnered an impressive list of offers.

"Offers I have right now are Miami, Alabama, Tennessee, Illinois, Arkansas, Northwestern, Michigan State, Indiana, Louisville, and Kentucky. I plan to take a whole lot of visits this summer to get a feel for the schools and to help me make my decision" said Green.

Green is still wide open in his recruitment and will look to narrow his list in the coming months. He had this to say "I would like to narrow it down by the end of the summer, or by the start of the school year. Then I can take some official visits before making a decision. I would like to have a decision made by Christmas time, but if it takes longer we will go from there."

One thing that became abundantly clear during our conversation is that Green wants to attend a clean cut program. "The big thing and big factor when I make my decision will be the people I am around during my college career. I want to be around good people that will help me to reach my goals. Also I want to go to a well known program that is known for doing good things for people" Green said.

And to that end Justin had great things to say about the new coaching staff at UofL. "I really like the new coaches, Coach English and Coach Lewis. I think they are really great coaches. I think they can really develop me as a player, and as a person. They just seem to be really great people to be around" said Green.

And not resting on his laurels Green has plans to take his game to the next level. "I think I need to work on my defensive back skills this summer. I also want to work on my vision, my hands, and basically the things that will make me a better player" said Green.
