"Actually Coach Kragthorpe just left me a message. I have to call him back in a little bit" said Moss as we spoke Monday evening.
Though not that familiar with the Louisville program, Moss said he wants to get up close and personal with the program." I plan on taking a trip east this summer to check out a few places, especially Louisville. They have had a lot of success there. They have a lot of players come out of there, and they also have great academics as well" said Moss.
Louisville is not the only school that is very interested in obtaining Austin's services. "My current offers include Kansas State, Wisconsin, Kansas, Cincinnati, Arizona, TCU, Baylor, Louisville, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Mississippi, and some others" said Moss.
As Austin goes through the process of narrowing down his list of suitors he is looking for a few things in particular.
"Mainly it is the character of the coaches and their relationship with players and a competitive school with good academics so I can secure a great future" said Moss.
It is said that the middle linebacker is the quarterback of the defense. And to that end Austin says he brings a lot to the table. "The main thing is my speed. I am able to move and react to things and play smart. Reading my keys and making plays."
Moss also looks to get in the weight room this summer in hopes of an even more productive senior campaign. "I need to put on some move size, and gain some additional weight. I am going to work on my explosive drills and try adding some strength without losing my quickness and speed" Moss said.
The roller-coaster ride has just begun for Moss as he plans to take several trips this summer. He says that he would like to take a look at many of the schools recruiting him to move toward making a decision.
"I really plan to narrow it down by the end of the summer, and I will make my decision by the start of the season or the early part of the season" said Moss.
