Four-Star GA Athlete looking for right fit

Two-Way playmaker Jonathan Davis is looking for an opportunity to make an early impact in college. His aggressive, explosive, and enthusiastic play has garnered him a lot of early attention. Now it is all about deciding which side of the ball to play on and which schools will offer that best opportunity. And Louisville could be pushing the right buttons.

Jonathan Davis is a physical freak on the football field. He exudes the type of aggressiveness and intensity that will make him a fan favorite at the next level. One glance at his videos in his Scout.com profile display his animated and spirited style of play on the field. Davis says that he can do it all.

"As a defender I have the speed and ability to run to the ball, and also get to the quarterback. And as a running back I am more of a power runner, but I also have the speed to break away from defenders in the open field," said Davis.

And though Davis has yet to make a visit to Louisville the Tucker (GA) dynamo is quite interested in the Cardinal program.

"I love them. They want me to come in and play running back for them so that is great," said Davis. My recruiter at Louisville is the defensive line coach (Ken Delgado). I don't know much about them, but I watched Louisville on TV," continued Davis. "So right now I really like them."

Jonathan his not yet visited Louisville and says that he will be visiting Louisville this fall possibly as one of his official visits. Louisville though does have stiff competition for Davis' signature.

"I just received an offer from Penn State yesterday. I also have offers from North Carolina, UAB, and Central Florida," said Davis.

Davis says at this point he is still pretty much wide open and he intends to take all five of his official visits. He is looking very simply at a couple of main factors in his recruitment.

"I am looking for a place that will look at playing me as a freshman. And I am also looking for someone that will look to help me out in school and in my classes," said Davis.

Davis says that he has no other plans for this summer and he has no real time line specified to narrow his list down to a final five schools. And when can we expect a commitment from Mr. Davis?

"I will probably wait until close to signing day to make my commitment," said Davis.
