Drew Hollingshead, a talented 6-3, 200-pound quarterback from Rockwall (TX) Heath, already has two offers. Hollingshead, who is receiving interest from Louisville, plans to attend a few college camps next month in search of a few more offers.

So far, Hollinghshead has two offers from Idaho State and New Mexico State. He's hoping to add a few more offers before the end of the summer.

"New Mexico State, I love what they do on offense," Hollingshead said. "Coach (Hal) Mumme is one of the top guys as far as the passing game goes and that really intrigues me as a quarterback."

Hollingshead will likely attend
Louisville's camp in July.

Hollingshead said he's also receiving interest from Kansas State, Texas A&M, Houston, UTEP, SMU and Louisville. "Kansas State has been on me for a long time," said Hollingshead. "I did really good at their camp and I think they're real interested in me."

Louisville assistant Tony Alford, who recruits the state of Texas for the Cardinals, is Hollingshead's lead recruiter. "He's talked to me and told me Coach (Jeff) Brohm liked what he saw on tape and liked how I threw the ball," said Hollingshead. "He said they are definitely interested in me and want me to come to camp."

That's what Hollingshead is trying to decide at the moment – whether or not he will attend Louisville's camp in July.

"I'm deciding whether I should go to (Louisville's) camp and I think I probably will," Hollingshead said. "There's a really strong chance that I'm going to camp. Louisville is kind of the same way as (New Mexico State). I love their pro-style offense and they send guys to the NFL and that's something I take a hard look at. I really like what they do on offense.

"I know Coach Kragthorpe a little bit," Hollingshead added. "He and my dad coached together at (Texas) A&M and I used to watch what Brian Brohm used to do and their offense kind of intrigues me because it's an NFL-style offense. The Big East is a great conference and I think they contend really well. It's just a great school to be at."

Hollingshead said his teammate, Kendial Lawrence, will also probably attend Louisville's camp. Two other teammates, linebackers Austin Moss and Ryan Mosby, might also attend Louisville's camp. "Louisville has talked a lot about (Kendial Lawrence) and they really like what he does as a running back."

Hollingshed said he also plans to camp at Houston on July 25 and Colorado State July 26. He hopes to make a decision before the beginning of his senior season.

"I'd like to go through the summer and see what kind of interest and offers I have and I would like to make a decision before football season starts so I can concentrate on my whole season," Hollingshead said. "I'm just looking for an offense that I fit in best. That's the one thing I'm looking for."
