Wilson says Louisville still in the hunt

Louisville remains in the hunt for three-star Louisville (KY) Central HS linebacker Ridge Wilson. The Cardinals, however, face an uphill battle to land the 6-4, 225-pound Wilson. Wilson has narrowed his list and is starting to set up official visits. Where does Louisville stand?

Talented three-star linebacker Ridge Wilson is starting to look seriously at what will be one of the most important decisions he will ever make. He is deciding where he will play the next four to five years in college.

In looking at his possibilities Ridge was quoted that he had eliminated Louisville from contention. That is not true, but Louisville does face an uphill battle says Wilson.

"I am definitely still interested in Louisville. I have not marked them off my list or anything, but right now I am just feeling like I want to get out of the city. I am just looking to see what else is out there," said Wilson. "I am going to give them a chance and everything. I am still looking at them as a possibility for an official visit with my mom and my sister. But in my situation right now I am thinking I just need to get out of the city."

Wilson still contends that he really does like the Cardinal program, but his situation could dictate a change in scenery.

"It's not really about me liking another school better than Louisville right now it is more about things personally with me," said Wilson.

Besides Louisville, Wilson says he has a definite list of the schools that he is still considering.

"Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, Purdue, Indiana, and Alabama are the other schools that I am really only looking at," said Wilson. "I am really looking at some sec schools. I am probably going to narrow things down to some SEC schools."

He has also made a decision on at least two of his official visits.

"I know I am taking official visits to Arkansas and Tennessee. Other than that the rest of the visits are up for grabs," said Wilson.
