Louisville in three-star RB's top three

Three-star Atlanta (Ga.) Carver running back Demond Dennis currently holds eight scholarship offers and says Louisville sits near the top on his list of favorites. A shifty 5-foot-11, 188-pound running back, Dennis plans to visit Louisville in the fall before making his decision.

"Louisville is third on my list right now behind Alabama and Auburn," said Demond Dennis. "Alabama is first on my list, Auburn is second."

Dennis said he'll begin the process of setting up official visits next week, adding that he plans to take one to Louisville this fall before making his decision.

"I've been following (Louisville) through the years and I just like the school," said Dennis. "They've sent me letters and an offer and I've talked to their coach the one time he came to our school."

Dennis, rated the No. 97 running back in the nation by Scout.com, rushed for 1,600 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior. "My strengths are my quickness and my vision – the way I can find holes," Dennis said.

Dennis' eight offers include ones from Alabama, Auburn and Louisville. He attended the Nike Camp in Tuscaloosa and the Scout.com Combine this spring.
