Furr said that all of his schools on his list of favorites are even, though a few programs have distinguished themselves enough to warrant official visits.
"I know for sure I will be making official visits to Duke, Oklahoma State, and Arkansas," said Furr.
Another school that Furr is very interested in is Louisville. Furr has not had a chance yet to get up close and personal with the Cardinal program, but that will be taken care of soon enough.
"I have not been to Louisville before, but I want to take a visit there. I will be taking an official or unofficial visit there. I am not sure which yet, but I will be visiting Louisville," said Furr. "I don't know much about the school right now that is why I am taking the visit."
When Furr hits the campus tour circuit he will be looking at a few things in particular.
"Playing time, academics, and location are going to be the biggest factors," said Furr.
A physical and aggressive linebacker, Furr is the type of defensive prospect that any program would like to add.
"I think the best part of my game is how fast I get to the ball. This summer I just concentrated on getting bigger and faster," said Furr. "I felt I had a good summer."
Furr attended Mississippi State and Duke camps this summer. Now with fall right around the corner, Furr looks forward to tending to his recruitment.
"I will talk with my dad about narrowing things down to a final five. And I am probably going to make my decision after the season," said Furr.
