"I think what coaches like best about me is that I always play at 100 percent. I think it is the way that I play that they like the most. I am a tough player, and they like that I play tough defense," said Roberts.
Roberts recorded 97 tackles and eight sacks last year as a junior.
"I need to get better in my pass coverage. I am not bad at it but that is something that I want to get better at," said Roberts.
With a lengthy list Roberts says that there are a few schools that stand out from the pack.
While Roberts hasn't visited Louisville yet, he plans to take a closer look at the Cardinals before making his decision.
"I don't really know much about Louisville right now. I know that they are a pretty good school. I have talked to coach (Greg) Nord about the school, but I have not gotten a chance to come up there for a visit yet," said Roberts.
Though Roberts hopes to narrow his list in the near future no favorite has emerged in his recruitment.
"I am not really sure about any favorites right now. I am really trying to hold things off right now until maybe later in the season. So there are not any favorites right now," said Roberts.
Roberts says that he was very active on the camp circuit over the summer and feels that he exhibited his skills well.
Roberts says he will try to have his list of schools narrowed down between the middle or end of the season. Now, the talented linebacker is eager to make a few visits before making a decision.
"I think I am going to probably make a decision around signing day or maybe a bit before signing day," said Roberts.
