Geffard, 6-foot-2 and 192 pounds, is playing free safety right now.
"Me and my brother are holding it down in the secondary," he said. "I'm at free and he's at strong."
The talented safety prospect has not yet scheduled any recruiting visits but he knows where three of them will likely go.
"I definitely plan on visiting Louisville, Iowa State, and Minnesota," he said. "Those three schools have already offered me and they're the ones I like the most. I'm also looking at FIU. Mario Cristobal and my coach go way back and I like how he's recruiting us. They have seven of our former players there now."
Geffard was asked to talk about what he likes about each of his three favorites.
"I have a real good relationship with Coach Bill Miller at Louisville," he said. "He's been real honest with me from the beginning and I'm good friends with Woodny Turenne, who's there now. I've known him for a long time.
"I like Coach Peterson at Iowa State. He's been saying great things too. I know I can get on the field early there and a good friend of mine, Bo Williams, is there now after he transferred from Florida.
"I like Coaches Lee and McDonald from Minnesota. They're just so enthusiastic when I talk to them and they keep it real with you. They have two safeties leaving and so there's a big opportunity there for me."
Geffard talked about the things he'll be looking for when it comes time to make a decision.
"Being on the field early is one," he said. "The business program at the school is another and just the overall atmosphere is the third thing."
Note: Isaac's twin brother, Jacob, is being recruited by the same schools and the two plan on going to college together.
