That's a question Mike Privott is going to take some time answering. Privott, the first prospect to verbally commit to Louisville from the 2009 class, plans to make some visits before he finalizes his decision.
"I pushed my visit to Louisville back until October 16," Privott told PackPride.com. "I'm trying to set one up to NC State and one to UNC. I think on September 27 I'm going to West Virginia."
Those visits will help Privott decide if he'll sign with Louisville or opt for another school.
"As of right now I would still say I'm a soft verbal," Privott said. "I haven't de-committed but I'm still weighing my options and looking at what else is out there. If I decide to de-commit, I'll probably wait until Signing Day to make my choice."
So what have the Louisville coaches been saying to convince their highest-ranked prospect to stay firm with his commitment?
"They're not pressuring me and they've told me to take my time," said Privott. "They know this is the biggest decision of my life and they understand that. They just want me to make the right decision. I'm their top recruit right now so they want me, but I'm just going to have to let them know what I'm going to do."
Privott led his Lake Taylor squad to a 40-7 victory on Friday. He recorded 10 tackles and his team moved to 3-0 on the season. They are currently ranked No. 2 in their area.
