Privott reassures Louisville

Earlier this month, three-star Norfolk (VA) linebacker Mike Privott was unsure about his commitment to Louisville after a rough season opening loss to Kentucky. Now, though, with things looking up for the Cardinals, Privott has had yet another change of heart.

"My commitment is firm (and) I will not take any other visits," Privott told in a text message Wednesday morning. "(I) will sign (a) letter of intent to play for UofL in the fall."

A few days after Louisville's loss to Kentucky, the talented Privott told that he was having doubts about his commitment to the Cardinals and wanted to visit schools like Clemson, West Virginia and Tennessee before finalizing his decision.

But with things looking up in Louisville after two strong wins over Tennessee Tech and Kansas State - on national television - Privott has concluded that Louisville is the right place for him.

Privott now says he'll visit Louisville when the Cardinals play Middle Tennessee and he's looking forward to spending time on the campus he'll call home in the future.

"It will be my official visit and (my) whole family is coming to town," Privott said. "I plan to enjoy the fans and the game."
