Lartey wants to visit

Emmanuel Lartey was happy to get his first offers in the mail. With a college football future in front of him, Lartey went to work to improve himself on the field, in the weight room and in the class room. The extra work appears to be paying off as Lartey's offer tally has now hit double digits.

"I got an offer from Ole Miss about two weeks ago and I found out that South Carolina had offered me back during the spring, but I never got it," said Lartey.

With new options in the mix, Emmanuel admits he will have to rethink his selection process.

"I am going to have to really think about things a lot more now," said the talented cornerback. "I have four SEC offers now (Arkansas, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina). I really like the SEC, so I am going to have to really look at all of them. I want to take my visits, but I don't have anything set up yet."

Lartey plans to make his selection sometime close to signing day and he has a good idea of what five schools have wants to visit before he makes his choice.

"I want to visit Arkansas, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, West Virginia and Louisville," said Emmanuel. "I went to South Carolina on an unofficial visit already when they played Georgia. They treated me pretty good."

Lartey does not have a home state school listed as one of his top schools, so his family will have to take to the road to see him play his college ball.

"Just about all of my offers are from out of state, so my parents are going to have to travel," said Emmanuel. "My dad works at the airport, so that helps."
