Big back set to visit Louisville

With Brock Bolen departing after this season, Louisville could use a big running back in this recruiting class to replace him. Reginald Bryant, a 6-foot-0, 215-pound bruiser from Cairo (GA), fits the bill.

Reginald Bryant, who holds offers from the Cardinals, Georgia Tech, NC State, Mississippi State, UAB and Middle Tennessee, is scheduled to make an official visit to Louisville October 25. The Cardinals host South Florida that weekend.

"All the schools like me because I really run behind my pads," Bryant told the Atlanta-Journal Constitution. "I am a physical runner."

Bryant, who runs a 4.56 forty, made an official visit to Georgia Tech last month. Bryant says he's looking for a ‘good fit' before he makes a college decision. Louisville has had several successful ‘big' backs in their offense in recent years, including Eric Shelton and Michael Bush. Bryant could find a cozy fit in the Cardinals offensive attack.

"Where do I fit at? That's it. I just can't go to a school because it has a good record and all. That's how I see it. I'm not sure when I'll make a commitment."

As a junior, Bryant rushed for over 1,600 yards and 25 touchdowns. Bryant has rushed for 3,320 yards and 50 touchdowns the past two seasons. He has averaged 125 yards per game in four contests this season, leading his team to a 4-0 record.
