"Right now I'm hearing from Louisville, Kentucky and Illinois State," said Van Ingram, who made an unofficial visit to Louisville for the Cardinals 42-23 win over Middle Tennessee. "Louisville has been talking about an offer. I had a good visit. I went into the locker room and weight room and it all looks good."
With just three more games left in his high school season, time is running short for Ingram, who is still awaiting his first college scholarship offer. He's made more than one visit to UofL this season and he's hoping the Cardinals will send an offer his way in the near future.
"They're waiting to get more (game) tape of me," said Ingram, who calls Louisville assistant Greg Nord about once a week.
Next up for Ingram is an official visit to Illinois State.
"I'm planning on going to Illinois State Nov. 1," Ingram said.
Ingram has enjoyed an excellent senior season, leading his team to an unblemished record with only three games remaining on the schedule.
"We're 7-0 right now," Ingram said. "I've improved my running block this season. I have no allowed sacks and 40 pancakes (blocks)."
