Talented Florida twins leaning?

Jacob and Isaac Geffard plan to attend college together next year. Will the talented Oakland Park (FL) Northeast standouts end up at Louisville? Jacob Geffard talks about official visits and favorites with Scout.com.

"I'm still considering Minnesota, Louisville, and FIU right now," Jacob Geffard said. "We (Jacob and twin brother Isaac) haven't been on any official visits yet but we have a couple scheduled."

Geffard, 6-foot-2 and 185 pounds, is ready to take his first trip next weekend.

"We're going up to Minnesota next weekend for a visit," he said. "It's gonna be us, Xavier Reese, and Travis Laurent going. The only other one we have set up right now is to FAU on January 9th."

Geffard talked more about his interest in the schools at the top of his list.

"Minnesota is a good program," he said. "The coaches are cool, it seems like a nice school, and I'm excited to get up there and check it out. FIU is a building program. I like what the coaches are doing there. The thing is, I just don't wanna be a part of a building program. I'd like to go someplace where they're more established."

Because of that, the talented safety has Louisville at the top of his list.

"Louisville is number one for Isaac and me," he said. "I love them. We have a great relationship with Bill Miller there. Their coaches just seem more down to earth than the others and it seems like they're showing more interest than the others. We'll be going up there sometime after the season for our visit."

Geffard has helped his Northeast team to a 4-4 record this season. Unfortunately, they've been eliminated from playoff contention.
