Alexander weighing options

Morgan Alexander has narrowed his list down to a pair of finalists. The 5-11, 175-pound Alexander has now visited both of those programs - Louisville and NC State. Now he's set to decide between the Cardinals and Wolfpack in the next few days. Who will it be for the two-star Cartersville, Georgia standout?

While he wasn't ready to tip his hand Monday night about which school he'll verbally commit to later this week, Morgan Alexander might have hinted which direction he is leaning.

"I'm in the middle (between the two)," Alexander said. "Playing time is going to be the big factor. I think I'll be able to play at Louisville but I just think I'll be able to play more at N.C. State. But it's pretty hard (decision)."

Alexander made an official visit to Louisville two weeks ago and saw the Cardinals lose to West Virginia 35-21. Last weekend, Alexander saw N.C. State knocked off Miami 38-28 to finish the regular-season 6-6. Louisville is 5-6 heading into their season-finale Thursday against Rutgers.

"I got there Friday and ate with the team. I went out Friday night around campus and Saturday we went to the ballgame," Alexander said of his visit to N.C. State. "They were really both equal with their schooling and the community. Now I just have to think about it real hard and come up with a decision."
