"Louisville said that they really want me and I could be a big part of their team," McNeal said. "I'm thinking about taking a visit to West Virginia – just thinking about it. I don't know yet."
McNeal, who has already made an official visit to Louisville, hasn't scheduled any other trips – yet. McNeal said Louisville, West Virginia, South Florida and Ole Miss are recruiting him the hardest and former UofL coach Bobby Petrino, now at Arkansas, just jumped into the mix.
"I just got a call from Arkansas," McNeal said. "I like Arkansas. It's a good program. They offered me a scholarship back in the spring."
Besides a possible visit to Morgantown, McNeal also might make two more trips – one to an SEC program on the rise; the other to the home town Big East program.
"I may visit Ole Miss and probably South Florida," McNeal said. "I like South Florida's program. They run the spread offense. I like Ole Miss. It's a good program and they run the spread offense and throw the ball around with a young quarterback."
McNeal, who said academics will play a large role in his decision, doesn't appear in a hurry to commit to any school at the moment.
"I'm looking at (majoring) in business," said McNeal. "I'm looking to make a decision on signing day."
