Dalcourt setting up official visits

First team All-State Franklin-Simpson QB Courtney Dalcourt is ready to take his recruitment head on. With his mind set on a decision coming sooner rather than later the talented athlete is considering a short list of suitors.

Franklin-Simpson (KY) star Courtney Dalcourt is finally ready to make some decisions about his future. He was tentatively scheduled to make an official visit to Georgia Tech this past weekend, and he says that his remaining official visits will not be far behind.

"I am in the process of setting up my official visits right now. The only visit I have set up at this point is my official visit for Georgia Tech, but the others I am still getting set up," said Dalcourt. "The other schools I am still trying to set up are Western Kentucky, Kentucky, Louisville, Cincinnati, and Central Michigan."

Dalcourt, who is being recruited by most schools as an athlete, is intrigued by having the opportunity to play quarterback at the collegiate level. For that reason Georgia Tech may have a leg up on the competition in the playmaker's recruitment.

"The thing I like about Georgia Tech right now is their coaching staff, and the way they have played all season. Both Georgia Tech and Central Michigan still want me as a quarterback" said Dalcourt.

Where he fits in with the other schools on his list is still to be determined.

"Right now UK is looking at me at receiver or possibly as a defensive back. Wherever I fit in with them and Louisville is looking at me pretty much the same as UK. Cincinnati has not said how they will use me and is requesting more film on me to evaluate," said Dalcourt.

With his visit schedule becoming clear, Dalcourt says that a decision will come soon after his upcoming trips.

"I want to make my decision soon to go ahead and get it out of the way. So I will probably be making my decision as soon as possible," said Dalcourt.
