Louisville commit planning visits

Peni Fiuangaihetau, a standout defensive tackle from Phoenix (AZ) College, gave Louisville a verbal commitment late last month. Fiuangahetau, though, still plans to make one or two visits this month before National Signing Day to make sure of his decision.

"I gave Louisville my verbal commitment," Peni Fiuangaihetau said. "I committed because I felt comfortable and liked the fit there. They made me feel like I really fit in. That's why I gave a verbal commitment."

With National Signing Day less than a month away, Peni said he'll hit the road to check out a couple more schools before signing on the dotted line next month.

"I'm going to test the waters," Fiuangaihetau said. "I'm going to sign with the school I fit in the most and so far Louisville is where I fit the most. But I want to keep taking trips to see if there's anywhere else that I fit in."

Fiuangaihetau said his junior college coach is responsible for setting up his official visits this month before signing day.

"I'm going to Wyoming, maybe New Mexico State or New Mexico," Fiuangaihetau said. "I think I might just take two more trips and see where I fit in the most. It's all about the fit for me."
