On his visit over the weekend, Guyn had an opportunity to speak with the Louisville coaches.
"I talked to all of the coaches (Sunday)," said Guyn. "I was talking to Coach Pitino (Richard Pitino) and he said they're really going to recruit me hard and get Coach Pitino to come watch me play and go from there. He said he would give me a call when he was going to see me play. They're basically saying they will offer me but they're giving me a chance to keep getting better. Richard said Coach Pitino just needs to see me play."
Besides Louisville, Xavier, South Carolina, Indiana, Western Kentucky, Illinois, Michigan State and Dayton are also showing strong interest in the athletic Scott County (KY) guard. Guyn currently has an offer from Western Kentucky.
This season, Guyn is averaging 18 points, 6 rebounds, five assists and four steals for one of the teams in the state.
"I'm doing pretty good," Guyn said. "I'm playing hard and staying humble with this recruiting process. I'm able to handle the point and shoot the ball also as a two-guard. I'd say (Louisville) is looking at me as a two or a combo."
