Louisville adds two-star wide receiver

Baltimore (MD) Dunbar wide receiver Sean Farr will follow teammate Horace Miller to Louisville next season. The two-star prospect committed to the Cardinals just days after Miller, a linebacker, gave Louisville a commitment.

Sean Farr, a two-star prospect rated the #179 wide receiver prospect nationally by Scout.com, has committed to Louisville and intends to sign with the Cardinals next week.

Farr, 6-2, 185, will follow Dunbar High School teammate Horace Miller to Louisville. Farr is making an official visit with the Cardinals this weekend. Farr had offers from Eastern Michigan, Akron and Maryland.

"He's visiting Louisville this weekend but he's already committed. He's flying there now," Miller told InsideTheVille.com Friday morning. "It's going to be fun now that we have two Dunbar guys going to Louisville next year. I believe we're going to do pretty good."

"I talked to him and said they have great tradition and facilities," Miller said. "He was just as impressed as I am with Louisville. I know he's going to have fun on his visit. I talked to the coaches to make sure that Stephon Ball is his host because he's a great guy."

Farr had more than 1,000 yards as a senior at Dunbar HS.

"He's a good size receiver and makes a lot plays," said Scout.com analyst John Wallpher. "He's going to kill you on the fade. He's athletic and he can go up and get it. He's got a lot of upside. He's got all the tools and he's a great athlete."

"He works really hard," Miller said. "He attacks the ball and goes up and gets it. He's a basketball player so he knows how to go up and get the ball."

As a junior, Farr caught 49 passes for 1,383 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Farr was an All-Metro Baltimore selection and was considered one of the top prospects in Maryland. Farr was a first team All-State selection in 2008.
