Top Florida punter commits to Cards

Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln punter Brent Moody selects the Cards and Coach Bob Petrino. Moody is one of Florida's and the nation's top ranked punters. He averaged 43.6 ypp in 2002.

According to Jamie Newberg, TheInsiders National Recruiting Editor, 6-foot-1, 200 pound punter Brent Moody has committed to Coach Bobby Petrino and the University of Louisville.

Moody, a punter from Tallahassee (Fla.) Lincoln High School, is one of the state of Florida's and the nation's top kickers. In 2002, he averaged 43.6 yards per punt.

"I committed today,"  Moody told Newberg. "I have family that live close to Louisville and I really like their new coach, Coach Pertrino."

Moody is currently in L.A. practicing for the California/ Florida All-Star game that is to be played on Saturday. He will visit the Cardinals on January 10th and will be in attendance for the UofL - St. Louis basketball game on Saturday, Jan. 11.
