"I talk to Coach Kragthorpe and Coach Wells a lot. They came up to my school because they always said they wanted to see me throw in person. So they got to see me throw in person this past Friday. I got an email telling me to give coach a call, and when I spoke to them they gave me the offer," said Trickett.
Trickett has seen a lot of interest come his way lately and his offer sheet has doubled since last we spoke.
"I have six official offers. Those would be Arkansas, Louisville, Western Michigan, Central Michigan, Western Kentucky, and Tulsa," said Trickett. "Right now I am still open to other schools that want the opportunity to offer. (But) those six schools are obviously at the top of the list since they have stepped up with offers."
"Right now I would say that Arkansas and Louisville would have a slight edge being BCS schools. The opportunity to win a national championship is something that is very important to me. So that gives them the slight edge," said Trickett.
Even with a second BCS offer now on the table, Trickett doesn't appear in a rush to make his college decision.
"I still don't have a real timetable to make a decision. You can't really know when the time is right. I am going to continue to evaluate things after the spring and then I will just go from there, said Trickett.
