The field of 64 teams in the 2009 NCAA Baseball Championship, including the three teams that will join the Cardinals at the Louisville Regional at Jim Patterson Stadium, will be announced on Monday at 12:30 p.m. ET live on ESPN. The Cardinals clinched their third straight NCAA Regional appearance with Sunday's 11-3 win over Connecticut in the BIG EAST Championship title game in Clearwater, Fla., and will enter the regional with a 44-15 record overall.

The Louisville Regional will open on Friday, May 29 with games at noon and 4 p.m. ET. The schedule for Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31 will also feature games at noon and 4 p.m. ET, and if necessary, the Louisville Regional will conclude on Monday, June 1 with a single game at noon ET. Gates will open at 11 a.m. ET each day of the Louisville Regional. All game times are tentative and subject to change based on matchups and television arrangements.
Due to the Memorial Day holiday, the Louisville Ticket Office will be closed on Monday, however, the Louisville Regional Ticket Order Form will be available online at www.UofLSports.com on Monday. The Louisville Ticket Office will begin taking ticket orders by phone for the Louisville Regional on Tuesday at 9 a.m. ET by calling (502) 852-5863.
All-tournament tickets, which include admission to the entire Louisville Regional, will cost $90 for reserved chairback seats, $64 for bleacher seats, $50 for berm seats and $38 for students with a valid ID. Children age 1 and under will be admitted free of charge.
Single game tickets for the Louisville Regional will go on sale on Friday at Jim Patterson Stadium. Single game tickets for the Louisville Regional are priced at $18 for reserved chairback seats, $10 for bleacher seats, $8 for general admission berm seats and $6 for students with a valid ID. All tickets purchased at Jim Patterson Stadium must be paid for with cash.
Though this will be the first time Louisville has hosted as baseball regional, it will be the second time in three years the Cardinals have hosted post-season games at Jim Patterson Stadium. In 2007, Louisville hosted Oklahoma State in a Super Regional, with the Cardinals taking two of three from the Cowboys and advancing to the program's first ever College World Series. The three-game Super Regional series with OSU drew a total of 12,372 fans for an average of more than 4,100 per game.
