Jordan Black, a three-star prospect from Valdosta (GA) Lowndes, is making camp rounds this spring looking for offers. Black, the No. 32 tight end prospect, will continue his camp tour at South Carolina and Louisville this weekend.
"I'm really excited about Louisville
's camp," Jordan Black
said. "I talked to Coach (Matt) Wells about coming up there and he said they wanted me to come up for their camp. Our linebackers coach (Terry) Quinn went to Louisville and he is all excited about me going up there. They want me to come to camp and show them what I have so they can offer me I guess."
Though Black is rated the No. 32 tight end prospect nationally, Louisville thinks he can help out on the defensive side of the football. "I believe they're recruiting me as a defensive end," said Black. "I played tight end my sophomore and junior year. I didn't play much defense."
Black, 6-4, 245, currently has one offer from FIU. He recently went to Tennessee's camp where he worked at center for the Vols. He'll be at South Carolina's camp on June 6 then head to Louisville June 7. He's also planning to attend Georgia's camp June 13.
"I have favorites but I'm open to anybody," Black said. "My favorites are Georgia, Tennessee, Louisville and South Carolina."
Black said Georgia, South Carolina, Clemson, FSU, Auburn and Louisville are recruiting him the hardest this spring. He said South Carolina is recruiting him as an offensive tackle.
