On Monday the three prospects met with new Cardinal linebackers coach Kevin Wolthausen and discussed some of the benefits of attending the University of Louisville.
"We met with Kevin [Wolthausen] twice today," Eddie Miller told InsidetheVille.com. "It went really well. He was telling us about the academic support for athletes and the class sizes."
They also discussed playing in Conference USA. "One of our former teammates, J.P. Losman is at Tulane and he likes it," explained Miller. "There have been a lot of good players that came out of Conference USA, especially quarterbacks."
When asked if all three will commit to the same school, Miller said the chances are high. "It's a very good possibility that all three of us will go to the same place."
Eddie Miller and B.J. Vickers visited Mississippi State this past weekend and all three plan on visiting Hawaii on January 31. Vickers and Gidden have also scheduled a visit to Tennessee for January 24.
WR Antwuan Giddens
Giddens missed his junior season, but he exploded this year as a senior, with 53 receptions for 1,082-yards and 9 touchdowns. He could be one of the top wide receivers in the country. Like Miller and Vickers, Giddens also played in this years CaliFlorida All-Star game. He was named 1st team All-City following his senior campaign. His favorites are Louisville, Oregon State, Arizona State, Cincinnati and Hawaii.
QB Eddie Miller
Miller is one of three players visiting from Venice Senior High School in Los Angeles this weekend. He is an outstanding passing quarterback who has a very strong arm and makes big plays. He recently played in the CaliFlorida All-Star game. He is a two-time All-City selection. As a starter the past two seasons, Miller has completed 70% of his attempts, throwing for 7,423-yards, 72 touchdowns and just 23 interceptions. His favorites are Louisville, Mississippi State, Cincinnati, Hawaii and Tennessee.
WR B.J. Vickers
Vickers is an electrifying and powerful receiver who has pulled in 165 receptions for 3,480 yards and 25 touchdowns over the last three seasons. He's been compared to San Fransisco 49er's receiver Terrell Owens and is described as a receiver that is very tough to tackle. He is also a very dangerous kick-returner, scoring three touchdowns on returns this past season. He participated in the CaliFlorida All-Star game and was a CalHiSports.com 1st team All-State selection. Vickers was also named the Los Angeles Offensive Player of the Year. His current favorites are Louisville, Mississippi State, Oregon and Tennessee.
