Davis, 6-foot-1 and 165 pounds, has been to two camps so far this summer but neither school has offered him yet.
"I went to the LSU camp," he said. "It was real nice, lots of competition. I locked down some of the receivers so I did good. I went to Florida's camp. I went and did my thing. They're in the process of offering me. I'm not sure what's next. I gotta see what's out there. I wanna make it up to South Carolina."
The biggest in-state offer for Davis has come from Miami. He talked about his interest in the Canes.
"When I think about Miami, I think about their dynasty, championships, putting players in the league," he said. "I like them a lot. Miami wants me at corner."
So does anyone have the edge for the talented cornerback prospect?
"No one leads," he said. "I like Louisville, South Carolina, Miami, everyone is on the same level right now. I'm looking for a team that's gonna give me early playing time, a team that will take me in as family. And graduation rates is important to me, too."
Inside the classroom, Davis claims a 2.5 GPA and hasn't reported a test score yet.
